Nan
Nan is a 27 year old Yorkshire-ling. She graduated from Oxford with a BA in Human Sciences in 2006. She now works part-time for the not-for-profit resource site KnowHow NonProfit, whilst also studying for her Masters in Science Journalism at City University which she completes in June 2010. Then she’s going to try really hard not to be unemployed for too long…
She gets excited by evolution, anthropology, sociology, psychology, genetics, health, neuroscience…..you get the idea.
She writes about things she finds fascinating (selfishly!) but does not claim to be an expert on any one subject – so welcomes your opposition, agreement, corrections and comments. She’s also very keen on documentary film producing so if you have any exciting projects – get in touch!
Aside from work she’s a bit of a weirdo in her love of strange sports – like gliding and things that involve large amounts of pain – like rowing and ridiculously long charity bike rides.

Interesting stuff – as well as donating to your favourite charity, you can also take campaigns actions on your iPhone too.
I came across this one from Amnesty International on Monday – it lights a virtual Amnesty candle, and you can take action on various human rights issues. What do you think?
