I am the Digital Communications Project Manager at Sandblast. Don’t know what/who Sandblast is? Google Search didn’t get you any results? I am the Digital Communications Project Manager fighting with resources, technical problems and a streak of bad bad luck.

Website is almost done. Copy is pretty much written. Domain is expired. Duh. No permanent web team at my disposal. Sigh.

I have been working for the arts and human rights charity Sandblast since I submitted my MA thesis in September. My MA thesis investigated the uses of information and communications technology by small- and medium-sized charities. Practising what I preach, I have been implementing a concrete Internet plan for Sandblast to raise awareness and promote Sandblast’s activities, but my heart is still in research and I am in limbo between academia and the nonprofit world.

Currently looking at internships in both nonprofit comms as well as research (public affairs, digital comms, ICTS, etc.) to complement my work routine. Anyone?
