My career has been built on an initial passion to create stimulating visual communications, and my early days as a graphic designer, working in advertising agencies, gave me the ability to apply this passion to print, exhibition, multimedia presentations and from the early 90’s onward with the web.

I have a logical approach to communicating complex information, a skill I have developed through years of teaching technology to adults on evening classes. I have a wide experience of delivering creative solutions to communication problems in both paper and digital based channels.

A key strength in my current role is my ability to enthuse at all levels – from administrators, project managers, Directors and Trustees – to realise how digital media can be used to engage our supporters in two way communication, provide relevant online experiences, develop profitable relationships and help us deliver our objectives in new cost effective ways.

I am a member of the board of directors for Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) an environmental charity with a track record in delivering innovative and award-winning environmental projects of local and national significance. Its aim is to create a truly sustainable Peterborough – the UK’s Environment Capital.

Appreciating we are in an ever changing world, with rapid technology development and audiences driving the way they want to interact with brands online – I am always mindful of Charles Darwin quote “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”
